Police in Omagh are investigating an incident in which a female passenger was accosted by a man on a bus. The incident occurred on a Bus Éireann service travelling through the town at around 10.30pm on Friday, 25 June.

Officers believe other passengers on the bus may have witnessed what happened and could have information valuable to the investigation.

A PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who was on the bus at that time to come forward, and urged those with information to contact police.

Information can be given to police by calling 101 and quoting reference number CW1954 of 25 June 2026. Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers.
