Residents have until tomorrow to submit their views on a proposed leisure centre in Strabane. Derry City and Strabane District Council’s online survey closes on 25 June.

The planned facility is part of the £115 million Canal Basin regeneration project. Full proposals, including design images, are available to view on the council’s Public Access platform.

The consultation began in May 2026 and is the final step before a planning application is lodged.
