A Belleek occupational therapist has won the Best Dressed competition at Down Royal Racecourse on Saturday.

Danielle Crowley took the title at the County Antrim venue, where she attended with her daughter Caoimhe.

She received a £3,000 voucher for a Jet2 holiday, a prize sponsored by Bookit by NITN.

Ms Crowley said she enjoys sourcing fashion from local boutiques and independent Irish designers, often combining modern and vintage pieces.

She described her style as inspired by figures such as Grace Kelly and the Princess of Wales, and noted that she has attended race meetings since childhood due to her equestrian background.

The win came as a surprise, she added, and she acknowledged the makeup artists, milliners and hairstylists who help create race-day looks.
