A series of free Sunday concerts will be held at the Scarva bandstand starting this month.

The Scarva Bandstand Concert Series begins on 12 April and runs every Sunday from 3pm until 4pm, finishing on 27 September. No booking is required and attendees are advised to bring their own chairs.

The programme features silver, accordion and pipe bands. Bands already scheduled for June and July include:

  • 7 June: Poyntzpass Silver Band
  • 14 June: Wellington Memorial Silver Band
  • 21 June: Kilkeel Silver Band
  • 28 June: Ballykeel Accordion Band
  • 5 July: Dunmore Silver Band
  • 12 July: Dynamic Brass Band
  • 19 July: St Marks Silver Band
  • 26 July: Tyrone Ditches Pipe Band

More dates will be announced. The series is organised by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
