Almost 2,000 votes were cast at a community funding decision event in Armagh last weekend.

The Tak£500+ Market Stall and Decision Making Event saw residents choose their preferred local project to receive up to £1,000. A total of 1,778 votes were cast.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council organised the event. The council has said it will shortly announce which projects will receive funding.
