A sold-out LUSH! Classical event on Saturday launched the Summer Series at Custom House Square in Belfast. The performance presented reimagined dance anthems in a classical format.

The series, organised by Belsonic Ltd/Shine, runs through June and July. Alan Simms of the organising team said the series was designed to build on the city's summer concert scene, bringing more artists to the Cathedral Quarter venue.

Upcoming headliners include Chris Stussy on 19 June, a 30+ Club Festival on 20 June, The Beach Boys on 21 June, Paul Weller on 24 June, Ashley McBryde on 25 June, a DJ set from Fergie on 27 June, Cian Ducrot on 2 July, Ewan McVicar on 3 July, The Kooks on 4 July, and Dylan Gossett on 5 July. Support acts are also scheduled for several dates.

Gates open at 6pm each night, with last entry at 9.45pm. No re-entry is permitted. Curfew is between 10.30pm and 11pm. Stage times will be posted on the series' social media pages.
