A 1.2-mile fundraising walk will take place in Dungannon Park on Saturday, June 6.

The event is organised by the Dungannon Diabetes Support Group in support of Diabetes UK Northern Ireland.

Registration opens at the Fisherman's Cottage near the car park, with the walk starting at 11am.

Entry costs £10 per person, with free admission for children under 12.

Group secretary Rhonda Green said the community has consistently supported the event each year.

Diabetes UK Northern Ireland Community Fundraising Manager Naomi Breen said the park provides a suitable setting for participants to connect and learn about available support.
