A 20-year-old man was arrested in Londonderry on 29 May on suspicion of intentionally encouraging or assisting riot.

The arrest followed rioting in the Irish Street area of the city on the evening of 1 May.

After questioning, the man was released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 1773 01/05/26.
