Two young men were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road traffic collision in Kinallen on Saturday, 30 May.

The crash took place at approximately 12.40pm on Katesbridge Road and involved a red Volkswagen Jetta.

The driver, aged 19, and the passenger, aged 22, were treated at the scene by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service before being transferred to hospital.

The road was closed for a period following the incident but has since reopened to traffic.

Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam or mobile phone footage from the area to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 729 of 30/05/2026.

Investigations into the cause of the collision are ongoing.
