Causeway Coast and Glens Council estates supervisor Andy Scott received an award for 15 years of service at the Briggs Equipment North West 200.

The presentation took place at an event held during this year's race meeting.

Scott stated that council staff contribute to all stages of event preparation. This includes removal of street furniture, health and safety inspections, signage, fencing, safety improvements, and support on race days.

Scott said the award was welcome but could not be achieved without the support of the wider council team.

Council chief executive David Jackson said the North West 200 organisers had recognised the consistent contribution made by Scott and the council team.
