Foster Carers Gather at Ulster Flying Club for Family Fun Day
Foster carers and children supported by the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust attended a family event at Ulster Flying Club in Newtownards.
The gathering took place during Foster Care Fortnight and included outdoor activities and visits from animals.
Foster carer Jacqueline Marshall said the children enjoyed the inflatables and meeting the animals, including a pet snake.
Foster carer Isobel Graham said the event allowed families to spend time together in a relaxed setting.
Marie Louise Sloan, the Trust's Director of Children's Services, said the day recognised the commitment of foster carers and the support they provide to children and young people.
Deputy Mayor of Ards and North Down Borough Council Vicky Moore attended and met families taking part.
The Trust said people interested in fostering can contact the service on 0800 0720 137.
