An Enniskillen businesswoman has been shortlisted for the Women in Tech Awards for an AI platform she created to assist dental and medical aesthetics clinics.

Lorraine Browne developed Practice Growth AI while working as Practice Manager at Belmore Dental Implant & Facial Aesthetic Clinic.

The platform aims to give patients clearer and more personalised treatment recommendations during consultations.

Browne has no formal technology training and created the tool after observing difficulties in how treatment options were explained to patients.

She is now seeking funding and industry support to develop the platform further and bring it to market.

Browne said the nomination was both humbling and surreal, and that she hopes her experience shows innovation can come from those who encounter problems directly in their work.

The Women in Tech Awards recognise women making contributions in technology through innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship.
