Saracen armoured vehicle installed at new Ballymurphy Airbnb
A Ballymurphy resident has installed a former British Army Saracen at his family home as part of plans to convert the property into an Airbnb.
Arder Corbett purchased the vehicle and moved it to the house on Sunday. The Saracen will remain on permanent display outside the property.
Corbett said the rental will include photographs and books on the history of Ballymurphy. He stated the house will serve as a memorial to his parents and local residents.
The property is scheduled for completion by the end of June, with bookings already secured for August during the Fleadh.
Corbett previously owned a Saracen in 2001, which was used at events including weddings. He said local residents stopped to view the vehicle upon its arrival.
