Extra Calendar Girls performance added at Ardhowen Theatre
An extra performance of Calendar Girls has been scheduled at the Ardhowen Theatre in Fermanagh on Saturday 6 June.
The added date follows strong ticket demand for the production, which is directed and produced by Debbie and Scarlett Murphy.
All proceeds from the show will go to SWELL Fermanagh Cancer Charity, a local organisation run by cancer patients that offers peer support, counselling, therapy, workshops and financial assistance.
SWELL provides services to individuals and families affected by cancer in Fermanagh, with the aim of reducing isolation and supporting those facing treatment costs.
Representatives from the charity and artist Noelle Mc Alinden attended a performance on 22 May and spoke about the impact of the production.
Special calendars will be available for purchase at the final performance, with proceeds directed to the charity.
The organisers have stated that the production is intended to raise awareness and funds for SWELL's work in the community.
