Higher Level Apprenticeships expand across Northern Ireland regions
Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald welcomed new statistics showing employer involvement in Higher Level Apprenticeships across Northern Ireland.
The data, published by NISRA, recorded participation from hundreds of employers in sectors including computer programming, construction, and legal and accounting services.
Higher Level Apprenticeships combine paid employment with study toward recognised higher education qualifications.
South West College, Southern Regional College and Ulster University together accounted for more than half of recorded employer participation.
The Minister stated that the programmes support the creation of good jobs, greater regional balance and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Apprenticeship places are spread across communities throughout Northern Ireland.
The figures form part of analysis examining employer participation in 2025.
