Almac Group has reported record financial results for the year.

Revenue reached £1.1 billion, an increase of £71.9 million or 7%.

Pre-tax profit rose 16% to £138.9 million.

Staff numbers grew 6% and the company now employs more than 7,900 people worldwide.

More than half of over 2,000 new roles created since 2021 are based in Northern Ireland.

The company said it continues to reinvest all profits to support long-term growth, including in diagnostic and pharmaceutical development, manufacturing and clinical production.

Chairman and CEO Alan Armstrong said the results reflect the resilience of the company's long-term growth strategy and praised staff commitment.
