The operator of Lough Erne Resort in Fermanagh posted higher turnover and losses for the year ended December 31, 2024. Turnover reached £9,841,655, compared to £9,821,057 in 2023. Pre-tax losses climbed to £1,664,639 from £1,537,500, an eight percent increase.

Lough Shore Road Limited filed the accounts with Companies House at the end of March. Net assets fell to £1,182,547 from £2,847,186 in 2023.

Directors expressed satisfaction with the company's performance. They noted that sector performance reflects general economic conditions.

The firm conducts regular strategic reviews of its own and competitors' results. These reviews cover market share, occupancy rates, and average room rates.

Company processes also include financial forecasts and budgets. These draw on market trends, customer behaviour, and anticipated price changes.

The resort finished hotel refurbishments in September 2024.
