A company based near Ballymena has reached £100 million in turnover six years after it was founded.

The JAQ Group, established in 2019 by Connor Martin, operates from an expanding site in Randalstown.

The business began with The Essence Vault fragrance brand and later added Thomson Carter and Liquid London to its portfolio.

Products now include perfumes, fragrance oils, diffusers, candles and skincare items, all developed and manufactured locally.

More than 30 members of Ballymena Chamber of Commerce toured the facilities this week.

The company employs more than 230 people in manufacturing, logistics, marketing and product development.

A recent expansion at the Craigstown site supports increased production and worldwide distribution.

Chamber President Peter Houston said the visit was inspiring and that the business showed global brands can be built from Ballymena.

Managing Director Connor Martin said the company plans to continue investing in innovation and talent in Northern Ireland.
