Lady Ballyedmond and family top the Northern Ireland section of the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List with estimated wealth of £898m. The amount fell from £922m in 2025. Their fortune comes from Norbrook Laboratories, a veterinary pharmaceuticals company in Newry.

Michael Loughran and family rank second at £770m, up from £530m last year. They own LCC, a Cookstown energy firm that supplies home heating oil and coal. LCC also runs the GO petrol station chain in Northern Ireland and Ireland. The company reports annual turnover over £1 billion. The family transferred £89.8m to the Isle of Man last year.

Robert and William Barnett and family place third with £715m, an increase from £647m in 2025. They operate W&R Barnett, a Belfast company founded in 1896. The firm handles agricultural commodities such as grains, sugars, and animal feed.

Rory McIlroy from Holywood appears on the UK under-40 list with £325m. The list ranks 350 UK individuals and families with combined wealth of £783.5bn. Minimum entry stands at £340m.
