Three students from South Eastern Regional College will compete in the SkillBuild regional finals on 19 May. The event features categories in electrical installation and plumbing.

Josh, 20, from Newcastle, studies Level 3 Apprenticeship NI in Electrical Installation at the Downpatrick Campus. He works for Irwins M&E. He stated that his course and tutors prepared him well for the competition ahead.

Alfie, 20, from Magheralin, studies Level 3 Apprenticeship NI in Plumbing at the Lisburn Campus. Employed by JF Mechanical, he will enter the plumbing category. He expressed anticipation for the event and confidence in SERC competitors.

Matthew, 17, from Magheralin, studies Level 2 Traineeship in Plumbing at the Lisburn Campus. He works for Lindsay Mechanical LTD and also competes in plumbing. He shared excitement to test his skills in the finals.
