Northern Ireland Youth Football Association hosts its Subway Cup Finals Day on Monday at Mid Ulster Sports Arena. The event features 34 teams from U-11 to U-17 in boys' and girls' cup and plate finals.

Ards Academy faces St Oliver Plunkett in the U-17 Boys' Cup final at 5pm on Arena 3G. Matches start at 10am. Admission costs £5 and includes a programme.

David Harkin, franchisee performance manager at Subway UK and Ireland, stated Subway supports the event as the pinnacle of the youth football season. He noted it offers players a chance to compete in a major final and reflects grassroots football strength. Harkin added Subway's Fresh Moves Programme promotes activity and skill development for young people.

NIYFA chair Michael Hutton called Finals Day a special season closer and the biggest occasion for many players. He highlighted a record number of entries this season, especially in girls' competitions. Hutton thanked Mid Ulster District Council, venue staff, officials, volunteers, families, supporters, and Subway for their roles.

The event supports SANDS NI, a charity aiding those affected by baby death. Matches stream live on NIYFA TV via the Exsporté YouTube channel.
