easyJet will start two new routes from Belfast International Airport in October. The destinations are Rome Fiumicino and Sharm El Sheikh.

Flights to Sharm El Sheikh begin on October 25. They operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. easyJet will be the only airline offering service from Northern Ireland to Sharm El Sheikh.

Flights to Rome Fiumicino start on October 26. They run twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. The airline provides regular service to this destination from the airport.

easyJet's UK Country Manager Kevin Doyle stated the routes expand options for winter sun and city breaks at low costs.

Belfast International Airport Chief Commercial Officer Kate Sherry noted the routes meet demand for Rome and provide winter beach access to Sharm El Sheikh.

Package holidays include flights, hotels, 23kg luggage and transfers for Sharm El Sheikh.
