Up to 10,000 residents in the Causeway Coast and Glens area faced issues with the council's JustPark car parking app. The problems led to inconsistent charges across council-run car parks.

Alliance Councillor Lee Kane raised the concerns with council members in March. He reported ongoing technical difficulties and asked for details on the number of affected customers, the total erroneous charges, and steps to prevent recurrence.

At the Environmental Services Committee meeting in April, Director of Environmental Services Aidan McPeake provided the figures. He stated that 10,000 customers experienced the errors.

McPeake confirmed that all impacted users received automatic refunds. JustPark assured the council that similar problems would not happen again.
