The Claragh Bridge Vintage Club will hold its annual vehicle road run on Saturday, April 25, to raise money for the Friends of the Cancer Centre charity. The event honors Ballynahinch resident Adele Kelly, who passed away last year.

Kelly supported the event for many years and attended regularly. Her husband Gabriel stated she never missed it and always arranged holidays to return for the Claragh Bridge show. He noted the event benefited local organizations and charities.

Gabriel Kelly said the choice of the Friends of the Cancer Centre, based at Belfast City Hospital, fits because the group supported his family. Adele Kelly organized her own charity efforts after her diagnosis.

Gabriel Kelly and his five sons - Thomas, Peter, Andrew, and twins Jamie and Ryan - plan to participate with vehicles. Thomas will bring an Audi, Peter a tractor, another son another tractor, and Gabriel Adele's Mini, purchased and restored in 2019.

The road run starts from Walter Watson's yard on Aughlisnafin Road, with assembly at 3pm and departure at 4pm. A family fun day includes live music and food stalls.
