The Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge announced sponsorships for Banbridge Hockey Club, Banbridge Tennis Club and Banbridge Football Club. The partnerships provide financial support for facilities, coaching and participation programmes from youth to senior levels.

Located at Linen Mill Studios, the attraction displays original sets, costumes and artefacts from the HBO series. It includes a restaurant, café and interactive exhibits. Much of the series was filmed in Banbridge.

The tour opened in 2022 and attracted visitors from around the world. In 2025 it saw its strongest year-on-year growth. Visitor numbers in January 2026 rose 94% compared to January 2025, with ticket revenue up 61%.

The sponsorships aid maintenance of facilities and expansion of coaching. Club officials welcomed the partnerships. Banbridge Hockey Club Chair Nigel Allister stated the club views itself as part of the local community and anticipates a collaborative relationship.

Banbridge Tennis Club Development Officer Warren Jardine said the sponsorship enables expansion of community offerings and supports a tennis for all objective. Banbridge Football Club Secretary Orrin Harvey noted the support comes at an important time and will help develop local players.

Marketing Manager Amy Houston said the tour contributes to the community through grassroots sport support. She added that sport builds confidence, teamwork and resilience in young people, aligning with the tour's education programmes.

The tour's education programme hosted over 1,200 students in 2025 and 1,149 learners in 2026 so far. More than 700 learners joined in the first six weeks of 2026. Visits feature sets like Winterfell and King's Landing, with workshops on production design, costumes, props, visual effects and storytelling.
