Irvinestown Man Dies Unexpectedly, Family and Community Pay Tribute
Darragh Harvey of Slievebane Road in Irvinestown died unexpectedly on Sunday.
He is survived by parents Fiona and Paul, stepfather Rodney, brothers Matthew, Sean, Rhys and Liam, sisters Abigail and Shevonne, step-siblings Frey and Jamaine, and grandmother Teresa.
His brother Sean described him as his best friend and a role model. Sean said Darragh had a kind heart, was always cheerful, and deserved better than what life gave him.
Sean expressed deep grief over the loss and wished for more time together filled with laughs and arguments. He noted they always supported each other and that he will continue to look up to Darragh.
Staff at Irvinestown Primary School, where Darragh was a past pupil, expressed devastation at the news. They sent sympathy to his parents, stepfather, sister Abigail who is a current pupil, siblings, and grandmother Teresa.
They recalled Darragh as a quiet, gentle, and well-mannered boy.
Helen Allen offered condolences, describing Darragh as a loving, kind, and gentle boy who brought joy to his family.
