Newry Arts Festival took place across multiple venues in the city. The programme included live music, theatre, comedy, film and visual art. Local and visiting performers participated.

Workshops and masterclasses covered dance, poetry, film-making and animation. Participants of all ages took part.

Film screenings featured works by local and international filmmakers.

Events occurred in intimate locations, quirky spaces and established venues.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson Councillor Philip Campbell stated the festival attracted growing numbers and displayed local and national talent. He noted Newry's history in arts and culture and said such events sustain that tradition while developing new talent and reaching new audiences.

Organisers have begun planning for the 2027 edition to maintain a high-quality inclusive arts programme.
