Antrim's U20 hurling team won their second Leinster Championship Tier 2 match in succession, beating Down 2-21 to 1-13 at QUB Dub in South Belfast on Wednesday evening.

The game began with Down taking an early lead through a goal by John Dougan in the fifth minute. Antrim responded with points from Charlie McAuley and Callagh Mooney to gain control.

Cahal Coleman scored multiple points from frees for Down. Antrim led at half-time after further points from Mooney and Oisin McCallin.

In the second half, Antrim's substitutes Roan McGarry and Cadhan Crawford added points. Crawford later scored a goal with five minutes remaining after Jay McAlonan's shot was parried.

Oisin McCallin sealed the win with a second goal via a solo run and off-the-stick finish. Liam McEnhill contributed a point for Antrim.
