Kaden Salmon, 24, from Moneycanon Road in Dunnamanagh, Co Tyrone, faces charges related to a crash on Tobermore Road near Maghera. The incident occurred on October 29, 2023.

Prosecutors accuse Salmon of causing grievous bodily injury to a female through dangerous use of a mechanically propelled vehicle. Additional charges include driving while disqualified, operating a vehicle without insurance, and failing to produce insurance when requested by a police constable.

The case appeared at Magherafelt Magistrates Court. A police officer stated he could connect Salmon to all charges.

A Public Prosecution Service lawyer requested an adjournment to prepare a full file. The lawyer noted the matter's seriousness and indicated it would proceed by indictment.

Deputy District Judge Noel Dunlop granted the adjournment. The next hearing is set for May 13.
