Detectives in Carrickfergus are seeking witnesses after an attempt to access an ATM machine on a forecourt in the Middle Road area.

Police received a report around 12.10pm on Tuesday 7 April. Officers noted damage to the machine. No cash was stolen.

An investigation continues. Detective Inspector Lenaghan asked anyone who saw suspicious activity in the Middle Road area during the early hours of 7 April to contact police.

Witnesses with CCTV, dashcam or other footage should call 101 and quote reference number 10 of 07/04/26.
