Ballyeaston Road in Ballyclare will close from 9.30pm on Wednesday until 1am on Thursday, 2 April. The closure affects the stretch from its junction with Lower Ballyboley Road to its junction with Victoria Road.

Police set up the overnight restrictions to carry out scene testing. The testing forms part of an ongoing investigation into a fatal collision on the road on 15 August 2025.

A PSNI spokesperson advised road users to seek an alternative route where possible. Authorities thanked the public for their patience during the works.

The closure will last about three and a half hours. Drivers in Ballyclare and surrounding areas should plan for disruptions to late evening journeys.
