Firefighters from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a fire at a flat on Ormeau Road in south Belfast this afternoon.

Two appliances responded to the incident. Teams from Central Fire Station and Cadogan Fire Station attended the scene.

Crews used one hose reel jet to put out the flames. The service stated the cause was accidental ignition.

The incident concluded at 4.38pm.
