US software company Craxel has opened an IT and operations hub at Pearl Assurance House in Belfast. The expansion creates 27 jobs.

The positions include software engineers, marketing executives, implementation specialists and sales executives. Recruitment aims to finish by 2028.

Gary Connolly, Managing Director at Craxel UK, stated the hub supports sales growth in the UK and Europe using the firm's Black Forest data platform. The platform addresses data challenges for sectors like financial services and defence.

Elaine Curran, Director of Trade and Investment at Invest Northern Ireland, noted the firm's technologies match local strengths in cyber security and software development. Invest Northern Ireland introduced Craxel to the region and supports the 27 roles.

Craxel, founded in 2007 and based in Virginia, develops graph database solutions for digital analytics and trust.
