Three companies in Derry are investing a combined £1.6m to create 21 new jobs, supported by Invest Northern Ireland. The investments aim to boost productivity and expand into new markets.

FoodServe, a provider of digital ordering and customer engagement platforms for restaurants and takeaways, is investing £710,000 to expand operations and create 10 jobs. The company plans to grow sales in Great Britain and explore opportunities in the United States and the UAE.

Phase X Consulting, a specialist in Workday integration, testing and reporting based at Ebrington, is investing £512,000 and creating six jobs. The investment will strengthen technical capabilities and increase capacity for growth across Britain and Ireland.

Creevagh Consulting Engineers, which provides engineering design and consultancy services, is investing £383,000 to create five jobs. The company serves clients in Ireland and Britain and plans further growth in both markets.

The new roles across the three companies include software developers, engineers, sales and marketing professionals, customer support staff, and administrative positions.

Invest NI has offered £289,989 in support towards the investment plans. Aeidin McCarter, Invest NI’s Head of North West Regional Business, said the North West has a strong track record of producing businesses that win customers beyond Northern Ireland. She said the investments will create skilled jobs, strengthen competitiveness, and support the local economy.

FoodServe founder Keith Donaghy said the investment marks an important step in the company’s development. He said the 10 new roles will help support more independent restaurants and takeaways, strengthen presence across Britain and Ireland, and pursue international markets. He said Derry-based FoodServe is proud to create skilled jobs in the North West while developing technology for food businesses.
