BBC Northern Ireland has produced a six-part series titled Peelers: The PSNI - For Real. Broadcaster Stephen Nolan joined PSNI officers on patrols across Belfast streets. The programme comes from Third Street Production.

Nolan accompanied officers during their regular duties. He observed them addressing drug dealing, pursuing stolen vehicles, and managing crowd disturbances. Nolan described the experience as fascinating and unexpected.

The series covers aspects of continuous policing operations. Officers handle street disorder, substance abuse, and domestic violence cases. It shows the teamwork needed in rapidly changing situations.

Viewers gain insight into police officers' daily roles. The BBC called the series an up-close look at key societal issues. Further coverage will appear on BBC News NI.
