A man from Strabane pleaded guilty to three counts of assaulting police officers, one count of common assault aggravated by domestic abuse, and resisting police. The charges stem from an incident in December 2023.

The defendant did not attend Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday. His solicitor entered the guilty pleas on his behalf.

District Judge Alana McSorley ordered a pre-sentence report. She required the man to appear in person at Strabane Magistrates Court on March 26 to confirm the sentencing date.

The defendant's identity is protected to safeguard the victim.
