A mobile phone mast on land owned by the Driver and Vehicle Agency in Enniskillen produces £5,000 each year for the agency. The site sits on Coa Road in the town.

The payment comes from the telecommunications firm using the location and faces periodic review.

SDLP MLA Justin McNulty asked the Department for Infrastructure in a written question about income from telecom equipment on its land.

The department confirmed the Enniskillen arrangement. It receives no revenue from masts inside public road boundaries, where mobile firms hold statutory installation rights.

The DVA property stands as the identified exception.
