Police in Portadown are investigating the theft of cash from a charity box at the town's train station on Woodhouse Street.

The incident occurred some time before 10.45pm on Friday, March 13, 2026. Officers found the box discarded after the money had been removed.

A PSNI spokesperson stated that the cash was taken from the charity box inside the station. The empty box was left behind.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1549 of 16/03/26.
