Sinn Féin MLA Cathy Mason has urged the Education Minister to address challenges in nurseries and early years settings across Northern Ireland.

Mason, the party's spokesperson on childcare and early years, highlighted a shortage of places for children with additional needs.

She pointed to ongoing workforce issues raised by staff in these facilities.

Mason called for the minister to listen to nurseries and provide the necessary support to pre-school settings and their employees.
