Sysco Ireland announced a £50,000 investment to expand its partnership with Meals & More across Northern Ireland. The programme, which provides free meals and activities to children during school holidays, will grow from five clubs to 35 by 2026.

The expansion aims to support more than 1,000 children at each stage with nutritious meals and structured activities. Meals delivered will increase to 42,500 in 2026/27, up from 14,700 in 2025.

Meals & More will extend its delivery network beyond Children in Northern Ireland to include the Healthy Living Centre Alliance and Feeding Britain NI.

Mark Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Sysco Ireland, stated that the company supports the growth to 35 clubs to provide meals to more children and families. He noted collaboration with Children in Northern Ireland on events like a careers day.

Sam Payne, Managing Director of Meals & More, said the expansion enables a larger network of clubs offering healthy meals and positive holiday experiences.

The programme, now in its tenth year, has delivered over 2.5 million meals across the UK since starting with three clubs in 2015.
