Mid and East Antrim Mayor's Charity Ball Raises Over £5000 for Health Charities
Councillor Jackson Minford, Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, hosted a charity ball on 14 March at Galgorm Resort and Spa in Ballymena.
More than 140 guests from business, community and voluntary sectors attended the event.
The ball raised over £5000 for Chest Heart & Stroke and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
Mayor Minford stated that the gathering allowed people to support the charities and recognise the work of their staff and volunteers.
He credited the contributions of residents and businesses to community efforts in the area.
