Portadown Fundraiser Supports Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust After Local Man's Death
Family and friends of Leonard Robinson organised a tea, coffee and food fundraiser at Killicomaine Community Centre in Portadown. The event raised funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, a Newry-based charity.
The trust assisted in repatriating the remains of Mr Robinson, who lived at Princes Way in Portadown. He died on June 1, 2025.
The charity provides financial support, advice and guidance to families repatriating remains of loved ones. It was established after Kevin Bell died suddenly in New York in June 2013.
Funds raised by Bell's friends, family and colleagues led to the trust's creation. Since 2013, the trust has repatriated remains of more than 1,600 people.
Attendees at the event included Alderman Stephen Moutray, Lord Mayor of ABC Council, Jackie Kerr, Lorraine McNally and Carla Lockhart, Upper Bann MP. Others present were Katie Brown, Mylah Kerr, Danielle Steele, Marc Kerr, Ayva Pilkington, Freddie Donaldson and Lottie Bennett.
