A 39-year-old man appeared in custody following an aggravated burglary at a house in the Riverview Bungalows area of Benburb, County Tyrone.

The incident took place on Friday, March 6. Police charged the man with aggravated burglary and theft of a vehicle.

He faces Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 1.

The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as standard procedure.

Police also reported the man to the Public Prosecution Service for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
