Dentist Joe McEnhill from Omagh received a fellowship from the College of General Dentistry at a ceremony in London on February 5. The date coincided with his 50th birthday. Dr Roshni Karia, president of the college, presented the award.

The College of General Dentistry represents general dental practitioners in the UK. It grants fellowship to candidates who meet criteria in clinical standards, teaching, leadership and research.

McEnhill took over Grange Dental in Omagh in November 2024. He previously worked in a family practice in Enniskillen. Since acquiring the practice, he invested in diagnostic technology including CT scanners and 3D printers to advance digital dentistry.

His sister Sinead and wife Joanna attended the ceremony with him. Other college leaders and fellowship recipients were present.
