Police Service of Northern Ireland officers are investigating two commercial burglaries in Castlederg, County Tyrone. The incidents occurred in the early hours of March 1 and were reported on March 2. Officers believe multiple suspects carried out both events.

Suspects entered premises on Drumquin Road at about 2.40am. They took tools from a van at the site.

Around 3am, suspects targeted a yard on Carickdartans Road. They searched an office and attempted to enter vehicles and sheds. Officers reported thefts of grinders, saws and spanners.

Sergeant Lowry asked for public assistance. He requested reports of unusual activity in the area over recent days. Drivers on Carickdartans Road or Drumquin Road near those times should provide dashcam footage or observations.

The thefts caused substantial financial losses from missing equipment. Officers seek information on suspicious sales of grinders, saws, spanners or similar tools. They encouraged reports of odd behaviour in the vicinity.
