9th Route Finvoy Boys' Brigade Company Marks 80th Anniversary
The 9th Route Finvoy Boys' Brigade Company held a church service to mark its 80th anniversary. Glen Millar served as guest speaker and presented a certificate to the company on behalf of the Boys' Brigade in Northern Ireland. He handed the certificate to Rev R Gaston and Officer Mr A Bolton.
The Boys' Brigade, a Christian youth organisation established in 1883, operates across Northern Ireland to provide activities and training for boys. The Finvoy company joins others in the region celebrating long-term community involvement.
Celebrations continue with the company's annual display and prizegiving on Friday, March 20. Samuel Paul will act as inspecting officer for the event. Attendance is open to the public.
