DUP councillors on Fermanagh and Omagh District Council plan to propose halting the sale of 2.4 acres of former playing fields in Kesh.

The land at Mantlin Road served past sporting activities. Council officials declared it surplus and listed it for disposal.

The motion calls for reversal of those decisions. It argues the site supports the local community plan and should stay available to Kesh residents and nearby areas.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council formed in 2015 through local government reorganisation. It covers Fermanagh and parts of Tyrone, managing assets like recreational spaces.

The monthly council meeting occurs at The Grange in Omagh at 7pm.
