Northern Ireland Ambulance Service crews responded to a 999 call reporting an incident in the Minorca Drive area of Carrickfergus, County Antrim, at 10:04 on Saturday, February 28.

Two emergency ambulances attended the scene. Control also dispatched the Charity Air Ambulance carrying a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service crew.

One patient received assessment and initial treatment on site before transfer by road ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

The service provides emergency coverage throughout Northern Ireland. Its air unit supports rapid response to serious cases requiring advanced medical intervention.
