The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has published compensation rates for brucellosis cases in Northern Ireland.

Compensation applies to reactors and negative in-contacts where notice of intended slaughter is issued in March 2026.

The payable amount will be whichever is the lesser of the specified options.
