New owners of Erneside Shopping Centre in Enniskillen, Fermanagh, have indicated plans for redevelopment through a social media post offering an initial glimpse of concepts.

The post from developers stated that the new ownership and management team have been working behind the scenes on future proposals, with a message reading: "The new owners and management team have been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re excited for what’s to come. Watch this space."

The purchaser was identified in December as Muntermellan Ltd., whose shareholders also own Rushmere Shopping Centre and Retail Park. The sale was handled by estate agents Savills.

Erneside Shopping Centre serves as the primary retail destination for Enniskillen and its wider cross-border catchment area, currently generating a net operating income of £1,975,831 per annum.

Detailed redevelopment plans have not yet been formally unveiled.
